ValPak Promotes NASCAR with Turner

Turner Network Television (TNT) and ValPak Direct Marketing Systems Inc. will launch a campaign later this month to promote the 2005 NASCAR NexTel Cup Series Race in 110 designated market areas nationwide and in Canada.

Valpak created a direct mail sweepstakes offer targeting 43 million households to reach existing NASCAR fans and entice new viewers to the watch the televised racing. Pieces will also promote Office Depot and are projected to reach mailboxes July 27 through Aug. 26.

TNT will support the sweepstakes promotion with an on-air TV campaign that coincides with the mail distribution dates. ValPak will also be promoted in space advertising in NASCAR Scene Magazine.

Sweepstakes response will be handled by mail and online at the Valpak.com Web site. This is the fifth time ValPak and TNT have collaborated in a direct mail and television promotion.
