Cathy Tweedy, has joined the New York office of Rapp Collins Worldwide as senior vice president, relationship manager. The job is the agency’s top account services position.
Tweedy will serve as lead agency contact on key accounts including Pfizer, Kaiser Permanente, Juniper Financial and Amicus. She will also join the office’s executive committee to become part of New York’s guiding management team, according to a statement.
Tweedy had founded Pickholz Tweedy + Co. in 1996 with Jerry Pickholz, former chairman of Ogilvy & Mather Direct Worldwide. The agency, known as PTC, was sold to Interpublic Group in 1999. Before that, Tweedy had worked at Ogilvy & Mather Direct for 20 years.
