The Golf Day catalog, its file of 650,000 buyers and inquirers and its Web site (www.golfday.com) are being sold by Trend-Lines Inc. Revere, MA-based TrendLines filed for Chapter 11 bankruptcy protection in early August. At the time, it reiterated its plans, announcing June 12 that it would divest itself of its golf businesses and concentrate on its woodworking tool lines.
The golf catalog does not carry any inventory. In 1999, its last full year of business, it generated $15 million in sales.
