ThompsonConnect Worldwide has hired Sam Smith and Judy Painter as creative directors. They had both been vice presidents and creative directors at Ryan Direct. In addition, Roberta Weinstein was promoted to chief operating officer, a new post.
ThompsonConnect Worldwide/New York is J. Walter Thompson’s direct marketing arm. Clients include Kodak, Merrill Lynch, and the United States Marine Corps.
