The Marketing Store Worldwide has opened a New York City office specializing in lifestyle marketing.
The office, led by VP-Alliances and Entertainment Victor Jones, aims to catch new fashion, entertainment, music and auto trends when they first hit, leverage them quickly for street-level campaigns, and then stop as the trend becomes mainstream. The office opened in December.
The nine-person Alliances and Entertainment staff will work with Marketing Stores’ offices worldwide, and tap the agency’s relationships with tuner car guru Jay Laub and designer Tony Shellman, founder of Mecca and Enyce fashion brands. Clients using the division include McDonald’s Corp., Pfizer, Sony Play Station, Ringo Starr and Duran Duran.
Oak Brook, IL-based Marketing Store ranked No. 16 in the 2005 PROMO 100 with 2004 net revenues of $42.6 million, up 22% from 2002. Its key clients are McDonald’s Corp., General Mills and Coca-Cola.
