SPSS Acquires DataDistilleries

SPSS Inc., a predictive analytics technology provider based in Chicago, has acquired DataDistilleries. Under the terms of the purchase, SPSS acquired all outstanding shares of DataDistilleries stock for $6.4 million in cash and SPSS stock.

DataDistilleries, which is headquartered in the Netherlands, develops analytic applications for direct marketing campaigns. Within the past 12 months, the company has generated $4.5 million in sales, primarily from customers in the Netherlands.
