Specialized Marketing Services (SMS), a direct marketing agency based in Irvine, CA, has picked Camille Jayne to serve as chairman and acting CEO. Jayne will replace SMS founder and CEO Gloria Robbins, who is taking a leave of absence for family health reasons, according to the company.
Additionally, Michael Stannard has been promoted from general manager to president and COO, and John Snook has added CFO to his current title of executive vice president.
Jayne will remain chairman of Matters at Hand, a company she founded that helps clients arrange their personal business affairs. Jayne has also served as chairman and CEO of Universal Electronics Inc.; service vice president of the digital TV division of TCI; senior director of new ventures at Ameritech; and first vice president of product management and corporate advertising at Comerica Bank.
