Teleservices provider Convergys Corp., Cincinnati, is readying a new call center in Killeen, TX. The company will create nearly 600 new jobs and build approximately 300 workstations in Killeen Industrial Park. The center is scheduled to open in June.
Diplomat Direct Marketing Corp., Stony Point, NY, will change its NASDAQ symbol from DIPLE to DIPL. Diplomat makes infants’ apparel and accessories, such as diapers, nursery products and bedding. Its Brownstone and Lew Magram units sell women’s clothing through catalog and Internet channels.
