JoAnn Alberts has joined American List Counsel Inc. as senior list broker. She will handle business-to-business and consumer marketers, specializing in publishing, consumer catalogs and business training programs. Previously, Alberts had headed up Statlistics’ Pennsylvania list brokerage division, and had founded Antigone Associates, a full-service list brokerage and management company.
Direct Results Group, Boston, has appointed Ken Kahn as vice president, account management supervisor within the firm’s Boston office, and Pam McNamara as general manager of Direct Results Group’s recently opened San Francisco office. Kahn was previously a vice president/account director at CPS Direct, and McNamara was a VP/director of account services at J. Brown/LMC Group, an independent subsidiary of Grey Advertising.
FusionDM, a San Francisco-based direct marketing agency, has hired Steve Franklin to be the firm’s director of account services. Franklin’s duties will include the day-to-day management of client relationships including agency staffing of accounts, contracts, strategic direction and business development. He will report to Thierry Zamora, COO of FusionDM. Franklin joins FusionDM from Bozell Worldwide where he worked in the Account Services group.
