Cybuy, a New York-based provider of e-commerce solutions for merchants, has named former IBM executive Ruth P. Stevens senior vice president of direct marketing. She will be responsible for developing and leading the direct marketing efforts for the company, a recently-formed subsidiary of NatWest Corp.
The Times Mirror Co. has completed its minority investment in alternative product sampling and advertising materials courier Alternate Marketing networks. Times Mirror acquired 350,000 new shares of common stock issued by Alternate Marketing Networks and approximately 340,000 shares from Edelson Technology Partners II.
