RedPeg Marketing has hired Martin Codd to lead its production department.
Codd will be in charge of all agency production as it relates to fabrication, fleet management, sponsorship and acquisition, program elements and tour routing.
Most recently, Codd was director of events at KBA Marketing where he created national event campaigns for Audi, Diaggio, and M&M Mars. Recently, he spearheaded the national event programs for Amstel Light and the Mexican portfolio at Heineken USA including Dos Equis and Tecate. Additional national campaigns have included Balvenie, Firefly, Intuit, Mountain Dew, Zirh and most recently Tava, the new Pepsi trademark, where he was the executive producer on the product launch.
“Martin’s resume is extremely impressive as are his production insights, operational skills, and big brand experience,” said Brad Nierenberg, RedPeg’s president, in a statement. “He will have a great impact on our national mobile tours as well as our other brand events. Few times in business can a single hire catapult an agency to another level. Martin has done that for RedPeg.”
The agency said Codd has consulted or managed some of the most famous venues in the United States. He was the director of operations at Webster Hall, New York’s largest entertainment facility where he produced numerous events for companies such as Apple, American Express, Christian Dior and Conde Nast. He has also produced concerts for established artists such as Madonna, Mick Jagger, Prince and Michael Jackson and for indie rockers such as The Hives, Bloc Party and the Stereophonics.
