Procter & Gamble is rolling out packages of Dunkin’ Donuts coffee this month to select retail outlets nationwide under a new licensing agreement.
P&G will offer Dunkin’ Donuts coffee to 40,000 grocery stores, mass merchandisers, club stores and drug stores nationwide, including Wal-Mart, Kroger, Target, Costco, Walgreens and CVS, the AP reported.
Dunkin’ Donuts hopes not only reach existing customers in an alternation location, but to reach new customers in the west and south where it is expanding, the report said.
The coffee will be available is a variety of flavors, including Original Blend, French Vanilla, Dunkin’ Decaf, Hazelnut and Cinnamon Spice. A 12-ounce package will retail for $7.99 and a 40-ounce package for $15.99.
A larger rollout is planned in September. P&G Coffee will handle the manufacturing, distributing, and marketing of Dunkin’ Donuts packaged coffee to U.S. retail outlets, the company said.
