Pottery Barn Bolsters Williams-Sonoma’s Third Quarter Direct Revenues

Williams-Sonoma Inc. reported net revenues for the third quarter ended Oct. 31 increased 14.2% to $722.8 million, versus $632.8 million in the third quarter of fiscal year 2003.

During the quarter, the San Francisco-based company launched a new catalog, Williams-Sonoma Home, and rolled out the first of its West Elm prototype stores. The company called early sales from the new catalog “encouraging”

The company
