Post Cereals, Glenview, IL, nods to a current craze next month with an in-pack promo that puts mini-bobblehead dolls in 16 million boxes across nine brands.
The three-inch dolls are based on 10 Major League Baseball players: Pedro Martinez, Luis Gonzalez, Jason Giambi, Chipper Jones, Bernie Williams, Sammy Sosa, Ichiro Suzuki, Jeff Bagwell, Alex Rodriguez, and Mike Piazza. A separate double-pack puts generic National League and American League dolls in Honey Comb and Fruity Pebbles, shrink-wrapped together.
Fans can buy display stands for the toys for $3 via mail-in offer. Meanwhile, other Post cereals carry Topps trading cards featuring players from all 30 MLB teams.
