Pitney Bowes Inc., the postal equipment maker based in Stamford, CT, plans to acquire Alysis Technologies Inc. an Emeryville, CA-based developer of digital document delivery solutions, for $24 million in cash.
This acquisition will reportedly give Pitney Bowes software and services that integrate Web-enabled documents into its existing capabilities.
