PetQuarters.com, a Lonoke, AR-based has acquired Humboldt Industries Inc. Humboldt Industries, Hazelton, PA, distributes two pet catalogs – Home Pet Shop and the Dog’s Outfitter – to retail and wholesale customers throughout the United States.
In addition to an undisclosed amount of cash, the purchase price included shares of its common stock to the former owners of Humboldt.
Humboldt Industries, which had revenue of nearly $15 million in 1998, operates a distribution center that includes a call center, an internal catalog design department, and a warehouse operation.
