Peter Heffring Resigns from NCR’s CRM Division

Peter Heffring, president of NCR’s Teradata CRM division, resigned Aug. 30 to pursue personal interests.

Heffring’s position will be eliminated. Gonzalo Hidalgo, director of engineering, will take on some of Heffring’s responsibilities and work as an on-site manager at the firm’s Raleigh, NC headquarters.

“This is a difficult decision for me because the roots of Teradata CRM come from the company that I built,” Heffring said through company spokeswoman Marchela E. Roca. “At the same time, I’m excited about the opportunities in front of me – to serve on the board of directors for a couple companies, to pursue other entrepreneurial ventures and of course to spend more time with my family.”

Heffring joined NCR Teradata in April 2000, when the company acquired Ceres Integrated Solutions, a customer relationship management software firm Heffring founded in 1996.
