OgilvyInteractive, a subsidiary of Ogilvy & Mather, has formed a joint venture with AsiaNetCorp. The international marketing communications group hopes the operation will strengthen is online advertising position in the Asian Internet marketplace.
The new venture, Ogilvy AsiaNet, will initially operate in Korea and Hong Kong, with plans to expand into such other Asian markets as Taiwan and China.
OgilvyInteractive sevices such clients as American Express, IBM and Jaguar. AsiaNetCorp is an Internet holding and management company with a network of Internet-related investments across Asia including both South Korea and Greater China.
