REEBOK: got ahead of the pack at yesterday’s Boston Marathon with the Terry Tate Pain Train. More than 300 college students, led by Tate, Stonghton, MA-based Reebok’s “Office Linebacker,” formed a cheering squad featuring Reebok-branded temporary tattoos on their foreheads. The tattoos were courtesy of Boston-based Bennett Global Marketing Group. College marketing agency Mr. Youth, New York City, provided its network of college students for the promotion.
FEDERAL TRADE COMMISSION: on June 18, 2003, will host a day-long public workshop to examine the costs and benefits to consumers and businesses of the collection and use of consumer information at its Washington, DC, offices. The workshop will focus on the collection and use of consumer information for particular commercial purposes in the context of two or three case studies. In addition, the workshop will inquire into the possible methodologies for further measuring and analyzing the costs and benefits to consumers of these information practices.
