ALLIED DOMECQ SPIRITS, NORTH AMERICA:

has inked a licensing agreement with Seattle-based Da Vinci Gourmet, to produce Kahlua flavored syrups. Da Vinci will also launch Kahlua flavored sauces later this year.

SCHOLASTIC ENTERTAINMENT: has signed new merchandising partners for Schoolhouse Rock. Through deals with MJC and Prominent USA, the pop-culture characters made famous more than 30 years ago, will appear on new apparel slated to ship this year. MJC features new boxers, underwear and loungewear for young men and women. Prominent USA will include characters on T-shirts for boys and girls.

CIRCLE GROUP HOLDINGS, INC.: signed a deal with National Express, Inc. and BCI 7 Marketing for the promotion, marketing and fulfillment of FiberGel Technologies’ Z-Trim products through direct response television marketing and retail channels. Z-Trim is a zero calorie fat replacement invented at the United States Department of Agriculture.

WENDY’S: adds a new salad to its line-up this week with the Spinach Chicken Salad featuring baby spinach, romaine, chicken, tomatoes, bacon, chopped egg and garlic croutons. The spinach salad is offered as a limited time addition to its Garden Sensations salad line and will be available through summer. The new salad will be supported by TV, print and radio spots handled by New York-based McCann-Erickson. TV spots begin this week and run through Apr. 7. P-O-P and Internet supports.
