RAPP COLLINS WORLDWIDE: New York City, promoted three senior staffers: Matthew Hafkin becomes chief financial officer; he had been VP-finance. Hafkin replaces Robert Horvath, who takes the new post of president-direct marketing. Steve Rodems becomes senior VP-business development; he had been VP-business development. Rich Whalen takes the new post of director-process improvement; he had been senior producer in the agency’s interactive division.

LEADDOG MARKETING GROUP: New York City, hired four new account coordinators. Ken Blake had been a marketing coordinator for Packaging Trends Inc.; Rachel Zakoura had been marketing coordinator for Investment Technology Group. Raeven King had been a LeadDog intern; Rebecca Lee was a speech consultant at the University of Richmond.

THE SLOAN GROUP: New York City, named Steve Diamond as executive VP-executive creative director, replacing founder Cliff Sloan. Diamond had been executive VP-creative director at Hill Holliday, Boston. He’ll work with Sloan General Manager Jennifer Friedberg.

IEG SPONSORSHIP SERVICES: has appointed Tim Tlusty as VP. In his new role, Tlusty will share responsibility for new business development for Chicago-based IEG’s consulting division. He previously was director of field sales and marketing for ESPN’s Central Division.
