COCA-COLA CO.: has expanded its deal with discount U.S. airline AirTran Airways to offer a wider selection of its soft drinks, juices and other drinks on the airline’s 500 daily flights. Financial terms of the three-year deal were not disclosed.
TYLER HAMILTON: has signed an endorsement deal with Minneapolis-based Compex Technologies. The 2004 Olympic gold-medal-winning cyclist will pitch the company’s electro-muscle stimulation sports and fitness products even as he faces a two-year ban from racing because he failed a doping test.
HEINEKEN: has lowered its growth forecast for 2004 beer sales volume in the U.S. market from 5% to 3.5% to 4.%. The company said that the recent hurricanes had wrecked a major U.S. holiday and reduced sales.
