BRUT: has signed on as an official sponsor of the National Hot Rod Association. As part of the agreement, Brut branded products will be designated as the official sponsor of the NHRA in the following categories: men’s cologne; men’s aftershave; men’s deodorant; men’s antiperspirant and men’s shaving cream. Brut signed a deal earlier this month with Don Schumacher Racing to sponsor a Ron Capps-driven nitro Funny Car.

HEALTHSOUTH CORP.: has signed a multi-level sponsorship with the Arena Football League, designating it as an official marketing partner of the AFL and official healthcare provider of select AFL teams. The deal carries an option that would extend the agreement through 2007. Financial terms were not disclosed.

ZIPPO MANUFACTURING CO.: is readying its 2005 Zippo Hot Tour. The music extravaganza will for the third year search local music scenes in U.S. cities to discover the hottest bands. In 2005, 10 cities will be part of the tour: Austin, Memphis, Cincinnati, Pittsburgh, Philadelphia, Orlando, Phoenix, Charlotte, Raleigh and Denver.
