KING WORLD PRODUCTIONS: has promoted Alex Ignon to VP-marketing and promotions. In his new role, Ignon will continue handling media planning, consumer and affiliate marketing and promotional partnership development for the company’s domestic programming, including Rachael Ray slated for launch this fall. Previously, Ignon worked as director, marketing and cross promotion for the Santa Monica, CA-based company— position he has held since 2000. King World Productions distributes popular TV shows including The Oprah Winfrey Show, Jeopardy!, Wheel of Fortune and CSI: Crime Scene Investigation.
SIRIUS SATELLITE RADIO: will begin airing a round-the-clock NASCAR-exclusive radio channel for SIRIUS subscribers next year. The deal runs for five years.
