PEPSI’S AQUAFINA: brand and Sam’s Club have partnered in a large-scale recycling program. The Return the Warmth program gives a $1,000 grant from Sam’s Club to one of 50 communities to collect the most bottles. The winning community also gets an assortment of fleece jackets made of recycled plastic bottle material. In-store signage and customized Aquafina multi-packs spread the word about the Great American Cleanup, the nation’s largest community improvement program, which the Return to Warmth program supports. Local affiliates of the Great American Cleanup program are encouraging local participation in Return the Warmth during the Great American Cleanup, which runs through May 31.

WHIRLPOOL CORP.: has reported that sales increased 37% for the first quarter of 2006 to $118 million, compared to $86 million in the same period last year. The increase reflects strong trade and consumer demand for the company’s innovative products around the world, a company statement said. Sales increased 10% to $3.5 billion during the period and represented a first-quarter record.

EPRIZE: Pleasant Ridge, MI, has opened an office in Dallas to serve clients including Dell, La Quinta and Pier 1 Imports. EPrize plans to hire five staffers by yearend, including a sales director and sales and marketing associates. This is ePrize’s sixth office (including New York City, Los Angeles, Chicago and London). EPrize ranked No. 3 in the 2005 PROMO 100, with 2004 net revenues of $14.2 million, up 289% from 2002.
