BURGER KING CORP.: has named Chuck Fallon as the company’s president of North America, effective June 19. Fallon most recently served as executive VP of revenue generation for Cendant Car Rental group Inc., the parent company of Budget Rent a Car and Avis Rent a Car. In that job, Fallon led Cendant Car Rental group’s global corporate, international and travel industry sales in addition to marketing, pricing and yield management. He will report to John W. Chidsey, CEO of Burger King.
MINDSHARE INTERACTIVE CAMPAIGNS: Washington, DC, has opened a Chicago office and hired Sue Zeiler to manage it. Zeiler had been director of interactive services and strategy at ad shop Noble-BBDS. Mindshare has offices in Austin, TX; Boston; and Los Angeles.
