HAMPTON HOTELS: has been named the official sponsor of the 21st annual National Black Family Reunion Celebration, a two-day cultural event that draws more than 500,000 people each year. The event is slated for Sept. 9-10 at the National Mall in Washington, D.C. To celebrate, the hotel chain is giving consumers a chance to win their own family reunion. Consumers can register for the online sweepstakes at Hampton.com/familyreuniongiveaway for a chance to win 25 free night stays at any Hampton Hotel of their choice. MOTOROLA, INC.: is extending its contract with the National Football League (NFL) for five years through the 2011 season. As part of the contract, Motorola, one of two sponsors that have an on-field presence, will work with the NFL to develop and implement communication innovations. The wireless and broadband company will also expand from a national to a global NFL partner, enabling the two organizations to test technology solutions in NFL Europe League and extend its relationship internationally. The company will continue to be the NFL’s exclusive telecommunications hardware sponsor—both at the league level and with all 32 NFL teams. Financial terms of the agreement were not disclosed.
