LATINA MAGAZINE: New York, last week began a five-city tour that will host 50,000 consumers for weekend expos in New York, Chicago, Los Angeles, Houston and Miami. The tour’s “Plaza” features live entertainment from MTV tr3s, a new Latino network, as well as local musicians, fashion shows, beauty makeovers, food and test drives for sponsors Dodge, Chrysler and Jeep. (Other tour sponsors are Kodak, L’Oréal Paris, Akademiks and Gibson Guitars.) Jack Morton Worldwide, New York, handles the tour, which celebrates Latina Magazine’s tenth anniversary and runs through Oct. 15.

JAKKS PACIFIC, INC.: has signed a licensing agreement with Endemol USA, Inc. through Endemol’s licensing agent, JTMG, LLC, to produce Plug It In & Play TV Games products based on the NBC game show Deal or No Deal. The Plug It In & Play TV Games are gaming systems that contain multiple games in a single controller and plug directly into the A/V jacks of standard TVs. Deal or No Deal TV Games products are expected to launch at North American retailers nationwide in spring 2007 with a suggested retail price of approximately $19.99. The second season of the game show premiered Monday.
