CARLSON MARKETING: cut a deal with mobile-phone marketer Enpocket to add mobile executions to Carlson’s loyalty marketing and employee recognition programs. The collaboration is part of what Carlson calls “significant investments” around the mobile device. Minneapolis-based Carlson will borrow Boston-based Enpocket’s current technology, and the two will work together to develop new mobile-marketing loyalty products and research.

WE TV: is hitting the streets with a viral tour to find the cutest agency puppy. Network-branded trucks carrying 15 dogs will stop in front of several New York advertising agencies on April 4 and 5. Each dog will carry a number representing an agency, and the pooch that receives the most votes wins the title of cutest agency puppy. Votes can also be cast online for agencies in Chicago, Los Angeles, Detroit and Boston competing for the title. The stunt is part of WE TV’s two new series, Adventures in Doggie Daycare and America’s Cutest Puppies, which premiere April 7. Street teams dressed in doggie gear will hand out tune-in cards that drive consumers to text their vote for their favorite canine to win a $300 gift certificate to a spa. The winning agency will receive a spa party for employees. LeadDog Marketing Group, New York, handles the promotion.
