New England Business Revenue Lower Than Forecast

New England Business Service, Groton, MA, had third-quarter revenue of $115 million, up 17% from $98 million. The increase was largely driven by the company’s acquisition of McBee Systems in June 1998. Net income was $6.2 million, down slightly from $6.4 million.

The quarter ended March 27.

The company attributes its results, which were lower than it had forecast, to lower sales in Rapidforms and Chiswick units.
