MTV Hires Jordan Berman as SVP Integrated Marketing

MTV has a new senior vice president of integrated marketing.

Jordan Berman has been hired to lead the development and execution of innovative and traditional on and off channel marketing integrations for MTV’s portfolio of brands­—MTV, MTV2, mtv.com, mtvU and MTV Mobile.

He will be responsible for creating and devising new initiatives and approaches for advertisers to employ including branded entertainment, long-form programming, and other cross-promotions, the company said.

Most recently, Berman worked for AT&T as vice president of media innovation, developing new entertainment services and connecting advertisers with 150 million customers across the mobile, broadband, IPTV, and local search platforms.

Prior to that, he was the director of promotions and partnership marketing at Showtime Networks. He has also worked in marketing and account management at Black & Decker and at ad agencies, Lois USA and Griffin Bacal/DDB. He also founded a digital branded entertainment studio, Shorn.com, which created and produced Cube Fabulous, an off-the-wall office makeover show that generated over 100 million views via online syndication and sponsorship from Honda, Monster & AOL.
