Molson Inc. and Adolph Coors Co. have stepped up merger talks, creating the possibility for a new giant in North American brewing, according to The Wall Street Journal.
The report said that the talks could fall apart.
The two companies, Molson, based in Canada, and Coors have worked together since 1998. Coors has distributed some Molson products in the U.S. and some Coors beers have been distributed in Canada by Molson.
