MeritDirect on Thursday won management of the Bigfoot.com 1.8-million e-mail subscriber list.
Bigfoot.com is part of the Bigfoot Group, a privately owned group of companies providing IT services, Internet-enabled communications and educational products to localized markets worldwide. These people registered on Bigfoot.com for a variety of services including the forwarding of their e-mail messages to up to five e-mail accounts simultaneously. They paid up to $39.95 for this service.
Selects include company size, interests, age, gender, income, job function, number of children, business/industry and geography. The price has been set at $250 per thousand.
The previous manager was 24/7 Real Media.
Stamford, CT-based MeritDirect also has been tapped to manage alternative media programs for Reliable Office Supplies and Day-Timers Inc. The precious manager for both programs was Direct Media Inc.
The program for Reliable includes 1.63 million package inserts annually. These inserts reach mail order buyers of office equipment and furniture, computer supplies and shipping supplies, among other products. The cost is $55 per thousand. Usage includes AOL, BMG Direct and Columbia House.
The Day-Timer management includes 8.5-million catalog blow-ins; 875,000 package inserts and 124,000 statement stuffers. Canadian programs are also part of the deal, with 97,000 catalog blow-ins; 173,000 package inserts; and 48,000 package inserts.
Usage includes Boardroom Reports, Checks Unlimited and Citicorp.
Day-Timers catalog is a distributor of time-management tolls and accessories for home and office. Products include planners, organizers, software, writing instruments and leather wallets and binders.
