The Sci Fi Channel, part of USA Networks, which also owns the Home Shopping Network, and Lycos Inc, have agreed to sell exclusive Star Wars merchandise over a new co-branded Web site, The SCI FI Store (www.scifistore.lycos.com).
The Star Wars merchandise offered is inspired by Star Wars: Episode I. The joint marketing venture is the latest in a series between USA and Lycos. USA is currently negotiating to buy the Internet hub.
