OTT Communications has merged with KYK Marketing & Promotions to handle a full range of marketing services and advertising in Louisville, KY.
KYK President Jack Hagerty becomes managing partner of the merged shop; OTT CEO Christopher Ott becomes partner. The combined shop has 50 staffers and claims $35 million in capitalized billings.
The two agencies have collaborated on projects in the past, and began talking about merging two years ago.
OTT has moved into KYK’s offices, which are shared by data management firm Peak 10, Inc. (a separate company). OTT ranked No. 97 in the 2005 PROMO 100 with 2004 net revenues of $1.8 million, down 50% from 2002.
There are no client conflicts. OTT’s clients include Anthem Blue Cross & Blue Shield, Georgia-Pacific, Gambrinus (Corona Beer), Hasler, Inc., Brown Jordan International, AAF International and Samsung Electronics America, Inc. KYK clients include Coca-Cola North America, Brown-Forman Spirits America, Bacardi, Synergism and Lyons Magnus.
