Direct Media Inc. has been chosen to manage International Masters Publishers’ database, which includes a master file and 10 separate subfiles. The master file contains more than 1.7 million names, including 629,132 buyers from the last 12 months. The unit of sale ranged from $6 to $22. Sources include direct mail (80%) and insert media. ALC Data Management was the prior list manager.

Bonnier Magazine Lists and Master Files
Bonnier Corp. has consolidated management of its portfolio of lists at Lake Group Media Inc. Bonnier has a database with more than 12 million names including nearly 9 million active subscribers. Lists for 35 consumer magazines are available, such as Baby Talk, Parenting, Popular Science and Outdoor Life. Bonnier recently purchased 18 magazine titles from Time Inc., which were formerly managed by Millard-Mokrynski Group Inc. (Millard). Lake Group already managed numerous World Publishing magazine files, which also recently became part of Bonnier. New Outdoorsman, Parenting Group and Canadian master files are being launched.

These individuals responded to postcard mailings and paid to receive an orientation package with a work at home opportunity offer. Three-quarters were men. The average sale was $70. Mal Dunn Associates Inc. was the prior list manager.
