Data Wholesaler Lead General Opens for Business

A new data wholesale firm, Lead General has opened in North Liberty, IA, offering lists for direct mail, telemarketing and e-mail promotions.
Founder Jeremy Isenhart said data derived from mortgage information and direct response files will be sold outright, but some specialty lists will be rented. Data will be updated monthly, Isenhart said.
Lead General offers consumer and business-to-business data. The firm will initially focus on offering a line of list products derived from mortgage information, he said.
Data sources include credit bureaus, annual reports, other public records, surveys, telephone directories and utility companies, to name a few. Records can be overlaid data from subscription lists and other direct response files.
Before starting this company, Isenhart worked for Discount Lists. The new firm’s employees have 75 years of collective direct marketing experience.
Dunhill Offers List Recommendations Online
Dunhill International List Co. has revamped its Web site to offer automated list recommendations and generate leads for its list sales reps to follow up.
Dunhill has also launched customized Web pages targeting list data and services to specific industries. Promotions are being targeted to the insurance, medical, travel and other industries.
“Our online marketing initiatives are more industry-specific going directly to mailers via industry trade publications, e-newsletters and direct mail,” said in a statement Carol Lustig, director of marketing and new business development.
These new initiatives promote the company’s existing products and services, including customized list compilation, list brokerage and its new direct marketing creative services offerings.
