Jack Morton Worldwide has hired its first director of strategy and planning to help clients set experiential marketing strategy.
The event marketing agency named Nelson Freitas to the post of senior vice president and director of strategy and planning.
He had been senior partner and worldwide group planning director at Ogilvy & Mather, and earlier worked on brand strategy at ad agencies TBWA/Chiat/Day and Saatchi & Saatchi.
Freitas joined New York-based Jack Morton late last month. The agency plans to bring on additional staff this year to build out its strategic planning and measurement services.
