Toy manufacturer Hasbro has issued the first direct-to-consumer catalog in the company’s 83-year history.
The Pawtucket RI-based company mailed a 68-page full-color catalog last week featuring products from some of its most notable brand names, including Playskool, Tiger Electronics, Milton Bradley, Parker Brothers and toys from the My Little Pony, Star Wars, G.I. Joe and Transformers lines.
For easier navigation, the catalog is broken down into four sections: pre-school, girls, boys and electronics. Customers can purchase then items they find in the book either at local retailers or at the new Hasbro online store, Hasbrotoyshop.com.
“With the strongest portfolio of toy and game brands in the business, Hasbro is providing consumers with a convenient way to shop for their favorite products in the comfort of their own home,” said Ed Kriete, Hasbro senior vice president of marketing, in a statement.
