Hampton Inn and Suites Drive Consumers to Book Online

Hampton Inn and Suites is directing family vacationers to its Web site by way of a new partnership with LodgeNet Entertainment Corp.

LodgeNet, a provider of interactive television systems and broadband services to the hospitality industry, is driving consumers to Hampton Inn’s Get Out and Play summer sweeps via promotional spots on the Welcome Channel in 369 Hampton Inns and Hampton Inn and Suites in the U.S.

The spot is presented in a Hampton-branded interactive TV environment to extend the brand into the guest room. Guests in more than 37,000 rooms will see the spot, which is in nonstop rotation through Aug. 14.

The spots will direct vacationers to Hampton’s Web site, www.hamptoninn.com, where they can book hotel reservations and gather information about thousands of activities near their hotel. In addition, guests that book a room online through Aug. 14 will receive one of three e-coupons, good for a discount at Lands’ End, Borders or Dan’s Chocolates.
