Twenty-one attorneys from Hall Dickler will move to law firm Reed Smith on Feb. 1 to form Reed Smith Hall Dickler.
The new firm, based in New York City, absorbs Hall Dickler’s New York headquarters and its Beverly Hills, CA office (merged into Reed Smith’s Century City, CA, office).
Hall Dickler attorney Douglas Wood will lead the new firm’s Advertising and Marketing Law Group, which handles all marketing-related work for ad and promo agencies, media companies and marketers. Wood is also general counsel for the Association of National Advertisers and founder-U.S. member of the Global Advertising Lawyers Alliance.
Reed Smith Hall Dickler’s Advertising and Marketing Law Group will work with Reed Smith’s Media and Entertainment Group. “Joining Reed Smith, which has preeminent expertise in media, intellectual property and communications, will only enhance our service,” Wood said in a statement.
