Hachette Filipacchi Media has inked a multi-year deal with Equifax Database Services. Under the terms of the agreement, Equifax will support the magazine publisher’s direct marketing efforts and its list rental business.
The value of the deal, which incorporates a marketing database, demographic data and analytic offerings, was not disclosed.
Equifax will provide an integrated, open-system solution that will consolidate Hachette’s current data management platforms. As a result, Hachette will have a simplified system, allowing for greater accessibility of prospective and current client data in support of its conversion, retention and cross-sell opportunities.
The result will be enhanced analytic and data discovery insights, greater flexibility in data access, and increased operating efficiencies.
“This solution allows Hachette to consolidate and enrich subscriber data into a single integrated database, process automatic and periodic updates from third party providers, and consolidate feeds from other sources, including third party vendors,” said Pegg Nadler, Hachette’s VP of database marketing, in a statement.
