Google Top Parent Company, FullTiltPoker.com Stickiest Brand

According to the latest figures released by Nielsen Online, Google remained the top U.S. parent company in April, while FullTiltPoker.com remained the stickiest brand.

Google attracted a unique audience of 138.7 million users in April, with each spending an average of 1:58:39 on its pages. The size of its audience grew from 137.6 million in March, while the time per person declined from 2:07:05.

The search giant was followed by Microsoft Corp., with 124.4 million unique users, each spending an average of 2:34:55 on its pages during the month.

Yahoo! Inc., with 120.0 million unique users in April, boasted the most time per person of the top 25 parent companies, with each of its users spending an average of 3:22:20 on its sites.

AOL LLC (86.8 million users), News Corp. Online (79.5 million users), Facebook (71.3 million users), InterActiveCorp (64.0 million users), eBay Inc. (63.7 million users), Amazon.com Inc. (59.4 million users) and Wikimedia Foundation (59.1 million users) rounded out the top 10 parent companies in April.

FullTiltPoker.com was the stickiest brand at home and work in April, with its 1.4 million users spending an average of 10:01:15 on its site. This was down from 14:06:40 in March.

Electronic Arts Inc. was second, with its 16.5 million users spending an average of 7:00:55 on its site during April. This was down from 7:43:14 in the previous month.

Juno Online Services Inc. was third, with its 2.7 million users spending an average of 6:04:05 on its site during the month.

PokerStars.com (5:59:12), King.com (3:49:38), AOL Media Network (3:45:16), Yahoo! (3:23:58), Facebook (3:14:36), FanFiction.net (3:03:20) and North Carolina State University (2:56:39) rounded out the top 10 stickiest brand.

In the U.S., the average person logged 67 sessions during the month of April and visited 124 domains during the month.

The PC time per person was 87:52:03 during April, and the average duration of a Web page viewed was one minute.
