Golfsmith International Inc., a retailer of golf equipment,, has acquired the assets of manufacturer Zevo Golf. The price was not disclosed.
Austin, TX-based Goldsmith will start selling Zevo products in Accessory catalog, its Web site (www.golfsmith.com) and its 26 retail stores by June 1. It will also create golf products using the Zevo brand.
Zevo produces golf clubs like the Zevo Compressor and Z-1 irons.
