Gillette Contestants to Appear in Print Ads

The Gillette Co. has launched a contest seeking photos of men putting on their best game face that will appear in advertisements for its razors.

Men can enter “The Best Game Face a Man Can Get” contest by submitting a photo online at www.mach3turbo.com. Contestants can also enter the contest in-person at one of the three “Game Face Stations” hosted by professional cheerleaders and staged at SRO’s sports bar in Houston on Jan. 30-31. Face painting and shaving will take place at each live event to help contestants create their best game face.

Two grand prizewinners will receive two tickets and an all-expense paid sports weekend trip in 2005 (prizes valued at $10,000 each). The top ten second-place winners will win a Gillette MACH3Turbo product pack, a one-year subscription to Sports Illustrated and $500 cash. All 12 winners’ photographs will appear in the new MACH3Turbo print ad in Sports Illustrated.

The panel of judges will be led by former San Francisco 49ers quarterback, Steve Young.
