Auto insurance firm Geico is looking to hire 300 people within the next four to six months, with a total expansion of 2,000 new employees once a new facility in Buffalo, NY is complete.
The expansion comes on the heels of Geico opening up its services to New Jersey drivers in August. Initial positions open include underwriting, sales, and service jobs, with several claims positions coming open once the new service facility is complete.
Geico relies on print, radio, television and direct mail advertising to attract new clients to its call center and Web site.
