Friendly Ice Cream Corp. is looking for a few good kids to win their coolest job of the year contest.
Kids ages eight to 12 in and around Boston, Philadelphia, New York, Hartford, CT and Springfield, MA, can log-on to www.friend-zworld.com and submit an essay and application to the Friendly’s Fab 50 contest Mar. 22-Apr. 5.
Fifty tweens (10 in each of the five markets) will be chosen by May 13 to contribute their input to menu and new product development.
The group kicks off their nine-month term at a party in May where they will receive a stash of prizes, including a $200 U.S. savings bond, an eight month supply of ice cream, Friendly Fab 50 gear and a $50 Friendly’s gift card. Approximate prize value is $27,500.
The Fab 50 will be featured on the friend-zworld.com Web site and make special appearances at a summer mobile marketing tour.
