FreeShop Inc., Seattle, launched its third satellite store, Free Magazine Shop (www.freeshopmagazines.com and www.trymagazines.com).
The site offers over 200 magazines already, enticing consumers with an offer of a two-month free trial. Working with its partner, New Sub Services, the Free Magazine Shop will soon provide over 500 consumer magazines.
FreeShop’s other sites are: CatalogSite (www.catalogsite.com) and Worldwide Brochures (www.wwb.com). Fingerhut Companies Inc., a wholly owned subsidiary of Federated Department Stores Inc., owns an equity position in FreeShop.
