Blyth Inc., a home fragrance and decorations marketer, has completed its acquisition of the Miles Kimball Company. The all-cash transaction was valued at $65 million.
The acquisition gives Blyth an entry into the direct-to-consumer marketplace. Blyth has neither a Web site nor a catalog, relying instead on retail sales and Amway-style sales parties.
