Estée Lauder’s Granddaughter Takes Marketing Helm at Clinique

Estée Lauder has shifted a number of marketing positions, including a promotion for Jane Lauder, granddaughter of the company’s founder.

Lauder has been promoted to senior VP-global product marketing for Clinique. The appointment takes effect Aug. 1. Lauder, a 10-year company veteran, had been VP-marketing for the BeautyBank division where she is credited with spearheading the creation and launch of American Beauty, its skin care and cosmetics line, as well as Flirt!, the color cosmetics brand.

In addition, Beth DiNardo has been appointed to the post of senior VP-general manager of Rodan + Fields Worldwide and of Darphin North America, effective July 31. Most recently, DiNardo had been senior VP-global marketing for Clinique. She has been with the company for nine years.

Julie Howard has been promoted to senior VP-global marketing and brand development for BeautyBank. The position takes effect Sept. 1. The division includes American Beauty, Flirt!, Good Skin, Grassroots and Daisy Fuentes. She had worked in the Clinique division as VP-global product marketing.

Jim Nevin has expanded his creative role taking on the post of senior VP-global creative director for Clinique effective July 1.
